Biography

The career of Miss Natasha Djikanovic started from early age of 9 when she was
attracted by sacral music of the Orthodox Church in a suburban part of Belgrade
-Borča, which is the place of her residence and where she began to sing in a
choir. After that Natasha started to explore the music and she fall in love with
opera and classical music.

Her education was an important part on her developing way. She graduated

from music high school "Davorin Jenko" in Belgrade and later on from University
of Arts, Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade, guided by the teacher Ljudmila Gross Popović.

When Natasha was at second year of University she became a member

of The Opera studio by The National Theater in Belgrade where she also studied
with Mrs. Radmila Bakočević. Working as a member of the Opera studio, where
she had a great cooperation with conductor Dejan Savić and Maestro Gleb
Gorbunov, Natasha had noticeable appearances as Mimi in Puccini's La Boheme
several times at The National Theater's main stage and stages in Niš and
Kragujevac.

In 2009 Natasha got a scholarship for a program in Germany-Oper

Oder Spree, Brandenburg. She performed with The Orchester der Plovdiv Opera
under the guidance of Maestro Frank Zacher where she won a Gran Prix Prize.
After finishing her Bachelor degree, Miss Djikanovic received the prize for the
best and the most promising student of the singing department for the
academic year 2009/2010 from the Faculty of Music Art Belgrade, "Danica
Mastilović" Fund. Natasha continued perfecting her technique with Virginia
Zeani in the USA, where she had several different concerts. From 2012 she is a
member of the Association of Musical Artist of Serbia. She won Republic
competitions in Serbia: several first places as a soloist and in the chamber
section.

In 2012, she was a semi-finalist at" Gian Battista Viotti" - Vercelli (Italia )

Competition and won a Luciano Pavarotti giovanni award. Also 2012 .  Miss
Djikanovic was a finalist at II International competition Magda Olivero in
Saluzzo (Italia).

Roles on Djikanovic' repertoire are: Violetta Valery from La Traviata and

Gilda from Rigoletto by G. Verdi, Mimi and Musetta from La Boheme by
G.Puccini as well as Lucia from Donizetti's opera Lucia di Lamermoor. She
perfected her repertoar with coaches : Svetlana Tirmenstajn, Srdjan Jarakovic,
Eytan Pessen and Reiner Armbrust. Djikanovic had many
different concerts in Serbia, Germany, Austria and the USA, appearances With
"Serbian Military Ochestra", several solo concerts in Serbia and as a student of
the Faculty of Music many concerts and different projects like : "Time Machine
trought Opera","Victory Day"-russian war songs and concerts of chamber music
as well.

From 2013 to 2014, Djikanovic was a member of Opera studio in Frankfurt

Opera where she made her professional debut like Glücksradfrau in Opera
"Rome und Julia auf dem Dorfe" by Frederick Delius. Miss Djikanovic is under the
vocal guidance of historical singer and teacher Michael Trimble (USA).

Her August 18, 2015 performance yielded overnight fame in Sicily at Taormina Opera Stars
2015 in Tatro Antico di Taormina performing in La Traviata with Maestro Silvia Casarin Rizzolo
and Artistic Director Enrico Stinchelli.  As a result of this appearance, Djikanovic was invited
to do another set of peformances of La Traviata at the 
Teatro degli Scavi di Pompei on September 9,
16 and 19 of 2015 under the direction of Enrico Stincelli and the batons of 
Alberto Veronesi and
Gianpaolo Mazzoli with the Pompei Opera Chorus and Orchestra.
